Chronology of cameras Murer et Duroni

The Olympion was a strut folding camera that retains some resemblance to the previous long sequence of Murer's focal plane cameras. It was delivered in 1927 and was in production for about 5 years.  It was delivered only for the plate format 6.5 x 9 cm.  It could be fitted with film-pack or rollfilm adapter (6 x 9 cm).
The body is fully metallic (aluminum) and covered in leather, the bellows are in fine leather. The folding viewfinder is very particular, folding to the front of the camera. The front standard has cross and rise movements.
The lens is a Murer Anastigmat with 110mm of focal length and 3.9 of maximum aperture (model OL-T), and it could also be fitted with a similar lens of 108 or 110 mm and 4.5 (model OL-R). In France it could be fitted with a Saphir Boyer 110mm/4.5 (model OL-B).
The self-capping focal plane shutter is the Murer S. II , delivering speeds in the range 1/15-1/1000 plus P.

Klapp cameras with a central shutter can come in three different finishes: economical, standard, or premium.

In the "economical" version, the body is made of alder wood and covered with imitation leather. The viewfinder is integrated into the front plate. The shutter offers only P (Time) and I (Instant) settings. The shutter is of the sector type. The metallic parts are oxidized. Its lens is achromatic. There is only one model of this type, which is a UT.
In the "standard" version, the body is made of aluminum and brass covered with morocco leather.
In the "premium" version, the body is made of aluminum and covered with morocco leather. A mechanism allows for moving the front plate forward to focus from 1.5 meters to infinity. The viewfinder is mounted on the sliding lens cover. The shutter speed can be adjusted to 1/25, 1/50, and 1/100.
